For many couples the seating arrangement for guests attending their wedding requires forethought and planning – together with an element of logistical brilliance.
The process often consumes hours of time and effort, however it is not time wasted as plans are invaluable for seating large numbers of people practically and with the minimum of fuss.
The plan itself briefly becomes the main focal point for each individual guest as they locate their seat for the wedding reception. Finer details are important and easels can often be overlooked as a fundamental accessory to any wedding and, if you are accommodating a large number of guests, you may want to avoid queues at the dining room entrance by using two easels to display two plans in specific areas of the venue. Guests can then refer to one before entering the dining room and then have a brief glance at the second in the dining area - this does help avoid dining room queues!
Some plans are beautifully constructed, with many couples lavishing a great deal of attention on this particular detail of the wedding. The design is as individual as the couples who commission them and generally tend to reflect the style of the wedding or are styled to incorporate a subject they feel passionate about.
Whatever the choice, most deserve more than to be displayed on an aluminium conference easel - fortunately there are alternatives.
